 Born Cooking ®, the first American style bakery cafe in Barcelona is located in the heart of the Barrio Gothico, the Borne. The products are of our own elaboration, all prepared to order on the premises, and the kitchen in full view of the public eye, is connected to the store. We specialize in a variety of pastry and savory, unique in Spain, with a daily variety of take away food, specializing in Barbeque. We also have a small corner of imported products, difficult to locate in Spain and to aid in your culinary adventures. Respecting the history and the quaintness of the neighborhood, as noted in the décor of our store, we are better recognized as “old fashion style”.
We began in 2003, with our first home made delicacies, the Brownies and hand made Cookies and according to you, our cherished clients, there are still no comparable products that exist here in Barcelona. Not to mention the New York Styled Cheese Cakes. Perhaps it’s because what we offer is what we want to enjoy ourselves, delicious, fresh products, made to order.
The food menu in the store changes according to our temptations, whims and catering services. Our specialities include Barbeque Ribs and Cajun Chicken, with an offering of vegetarian plates to accompany your Barbeque Picnics. Our catering services, we plan and organize with our clients, adapted specifically to the event, and according to their dietary requirements.
